But if the world was like this, then id feel like he had a chance at a better life, and what kind of parent would i be if i didnt let him have that chance. It would be selfish of me. It would be so hard, but, i think i understand where she was at. Has the weirdest plot! Jim carry' s life from his birth is shown in air to the world. His life is literally trapped by the show makers. The city he lives in, the people around him, all are for the show. The hard part is that he doesn't know he's been trapped with his life being manipulated and run by a show maker

I remember seeing Nixon on TV that same night talking about Vietnam. He didn't mention Kent State, though everyone was waiting. Finally a news guy asked about it, and all Nixon said was we haven't studied it yet. The newsman was incredulous. Nixon even seemed a little cheerful. It was a long time ago....but I think I'm remembering it correctly. I am 71. I have learned a few things. Politicians are not our parents. They do not love us. They may even hate us. Do not trust any of them. 18 became the legal age of majority in 1970. They wanted to teach us all a lesson....shut up those spoiled brats... These kids were unarmed and were dispersing when they were gunned down. It was murder.

Most of the marines in "Aliens" were played by Americans who happened to be living in the UK at the time. I think only Biehn and Paxton bucked that trend. (Well, except for Tip Tipping, who was British anyway.)

Now that Andor Season 1 has been out for a while, I really think that the entirety of Rogue One needs to be re-edited or at least re-scored. Michael Giacchino is a talented composer, but he was rushed and tried too hard to make Rogue One sound like regular Star Wars without being regular Star Wars, and the soundtrack just falls a bit flat overall. Nicholas Britell did such an amazing job with scoring the first season of Andor, because he was given the time he needed to create something that fit the show and didn't need to sound like John Williams. I think Rogue One would benefit from a fresh score that does a good job of bridging the gap between the Nicholas Britell and John Williams scores. 😊

Alternate version? This is what I watch every time.

This is the only one of the "Alien" movies I have seen. I have no idea how good the others are and could care less. Top 5 movie of all time for me.

Episode 3 is still the grittiest most violent star wars movie. We literally see a Jedi master get blasted to pieces by clone troopers. They should’ve had more violence like that in this movie. But Disney’s afraid to go that far. They should’ve shown how painful it is to get hit by one of these lasers. Some screaming and more rebels getting overwhelmed than stormtroopers
